Ponte Vedra Library Expansion Project

Location:
Ponte Vedra Beach, St. Johns County, Florida

Owner:
St. Johns County, Florida

Need for expansion and unsuitable exterior wall construction for Atlantic coastal winds required elaborate and clever design schemes. The manipuation of the building to satisfy all requirements challenged the new design to the degree that a second new design was proposed and planned out in completion; only to have the City of Ponte Vedra accept the original "re"design as superior in simplicity and function.
