click to magnify The Florida Department of Environmental Protection has set up a Council on Greenways and Trails to take care of certain functions at various state owned facilities. Buckman Lock services the Florida barge canal, and happens to have a series of trails (horseback riding, bike trials, hiking trails). The visitor center would serve the trails with exhibits pertaining to the immediate region of the trails, information, as well as on site park Management.
